Build a working wind turbine and experiment with how wind can be turned into usable electricity. The Thames & Kosmos Wind Power 4.0 kit includes an electric generator, adjustable aerodynamic rotor blades and ground anchors for assembling a substantial working turbine.

Change the angle of the blades to investigate turbine performance, use the generated electricity to illuminate an LED and charge a rechargeable battery, then convert the generator into an electric motor to power the included model car. The 32-page illustrated manual also explores windmills, modern wind turbines and the use of renewable energy in homes and vehicles.
