Some Creatures Have All the Luck introduces Vivaldi through the wintry adventures of Minim, a small mouse discovering how different creatures cope with the cold. Ana Gerhard's story and Marie Lafrance's illustrations give children a narrative way into classical music rather than presenting the composer as a lesson.

Key features

  • Story inspired by Antonio Vivaldi and winter.
  • Features Minim the mouse as the central character.
  • Includes a narrated recording and music from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.
  • Combines picture-book storytelling with a first introduction to classical listening.

A warm choice for sharing on a cold day, especially with children who enjoy stories but may not yet think of themselves as classical-music listeners.
