Build a working miniature model inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s studies of birds and human-powered flight. Once assembled, the ornithopter’s wings can be moved to demonstrate the flapping action Leonardo explored in his flying-machine designs.

The wooden pieces come pre-cut and ready to assemble, with some glue required. It makes a compact hands-on introduction to simple mechanics, movement and the history of early aviation.
