New Zealand Menagerie is a competitive card game of chance and strategy built around New Zealand wildlife and habitats. Players collect animal cards for their nature reserve while protecting them from threats such as pollution and feral animals. Points are scored from the animals in each reserve, with the first player or team to reach 100 points winning the game.

The game features native species including Blue Penguin, Kiwi, Kea, Kakapo, Takahe, Fur Seal, Tuatara, Stone Weta, Otago skink, Archey’s frog and Katipo spider. It was developed in association with Auckland Zoo, with animal facts included throughout the game.
