An Artist a Day turns the calendar into a daily art discovery, pairing every date with an artist born on that day. Michael Semff ranges across periods, countries and media, mixing major names with artists who are less often given the same space in broad art histories.

  • Each entry combines an artwork, biographical details and a short explanation of the artist’s significance.
  • Includes painters, sculptors, photographers and multimedia artists from different cultures and periods.
