100 Years, 100 Artworks tells a century of modern and contemporary art through one work for each year. Ágnes Berecz moves from 1919 onward using painting, photography, sculpture, installation and performance to show how artistic ideas shifted alongside politics, technology and social change.

Key features

  • Selects 100 significant works, one for each year.
  • Includes artists ranging from Georgia O’Keeffe and Man Ray to Kara Walker and Ai Weiwei.
  • Each artwork is reproduced across a double-page spread with accompanying commentary.
